BY AIR

If you have any problems or questions, there are good information desks in the Arrivals hall at both Heathrow and Gatwick. Please note that there are two rail stations in Southampton: Southampton Central is in the city centre and is closest to NOCS and city hotels; Southampton Parkway is a little way outside the main city, adjacent to Southampton Airport.

From Heathrow Airport
Coach services link Woking with all terminals at Heathrow Airport. Passengers travelling from Heathrow can purchase combined coach and rail tickets for journeys via Woking from the desks located in the arrivals hall in each of the terminal buildings. Coaches leave all four terminals every 30 minutes throughout most of the day. On arrival, follow signs marked 'RailAir Link' - this bus will take you to Woking station. The trains to Southampton depart regularly, but you may have to change trains at Basingstoke - please check this before you start your journey. See the rail section below for train timetable information.

National Express run a coach service from the coach station at Heathrow Airport to Southampton, usually with stops at Basingstoke and Winchester. Coaches depart regularly, and the journey time to Southampton is approximately 1.5 hours. Travelling by coach is usually cheaper than taking the train.

From Gatwick Airport
There is a train station in the South Terminal of Gatwick Airport, with a regular train service to Southampton Central station. You are likely to have to change trains en route, so be sure to check before you depart. If your flight lands at the North Terminal, there is a shuttle train between the terminal buildings
National Express coach services also operate from Gatwick Airport. A regular service runs to Southampton Coach Station; this journey takes approximately 3 hours.

From Southampton Airport there is a connecting train service from Southampton Parkway station (adjacent to the airport) to Southampton Central. Journey time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Alternatively, taxis are available outside the airport entrance - travelling to NOCS by road takes approximately 15 minutes.
